CHOICES

Once upon a time, there lived a cute girl with her happy family in a very pleasant city. Her life was what every other girl craved for. She got a beautiful face, a bright skin, intelligent brain, cool friends and especially a harmonious family. Her life was the sweetest gift from God.

Unfortunately, it wasn't for so long.

Right after her 13th birthday, her parents divorced. She was extremely sad that she didn't want to talk to anyone for days. She completely changed. A cute, extrovert and innocent girl inside her turned out be a prude, selfish, and lack-of-confidence one. She kept feeling like everyone hates her. She's so sensitive that only an easy joke could got her so angry. She was hardly believing anyone. Insecurity surrounded her whole life. And for everything that has been changed, she never stop blaming her parents. 

As years went by, she is now so far from her childhood picture of the future.She intended to be a good person who always helps everyone in needed. Now she is the one who need help for having so much trouble in her teenager life such as boys issue, drunkenness, low grade, and so forth. She has no intention to shape a good future anymore. 

And that is, from her point of view, all her parents fault. Whenever she feels like guilty or something, she keeps comforting herself back by recalling what her parents just did to her life. She thinks they did it because they never love her, because they never wish for her existence. And there's no reason for her to struggle anymore.

I made the story for 2 reasons: (1)To spell out the reason behind the bad manners of most teenagers. (2)To clearly disagree with the reason.

I never really understand how a person can judge or blame another person, even in this case is their parents, over their bad choice in life. Its true that your mom gave birth to you, and your dad raised and supposed to cherished you. You know what? They do, and they always do no matter what kind of situation they both are in. If only they are able to pick, separation is none of the option they would choose. You may never understand that there are always some big reason behind it. And for that matter, they never want you to be affected over their action in the present time. They love you even before you born, and nothing's gonna change no matter what, how, or when.

Moreover, you were born to live your life. And I think its pretty silly if you let another person rule it. You still can do better without having to get the same kind of life with those in a harmonious family. Not to mention that you actually have more motivation than others to mend your life. So, never waste the life God has given us. We were exist for a reason, so was every single occurrence. Temptation should brings you wiser. And it's only going to be you who is able to fix your own problem. Others will only listen but are reluctant to fully help you. 

Stop crying, tears make you unable to see clearly. Start walking the right path, and see what the world is still concealed from you. Keep loving and making your parents proud. They are the biggest love on earth after God. They're always one of the reason for you to struggle :)
